The MEL Safety Institute (MSI) has created the MSI Leadership Academy for Managers, Administrators, Department Heads, and Supervisors interested in sharpening and expanding their managerial skills. The program’s goal is to enhance our leadership skills by offering varied, in-depth managerial training.
The MSI Law Enforcement Leadership Academy courses and enrollment are slightly different; please view the flyer at the top of the page for details.

- Mandatory and Elective classes must be completed within 2 years of enrollment.
- Only 4 Elective classes from the provided list are required for successful completion of the Academy.
- Any classes completed prior to enrolling in the MSI Leadership Academy must be retaken.
LEADERSHIP ACADEMY CLASS LIST: The list in the gray box below includes all classes approved for the MSI Leadership Academy. Please note that classes will be offered on a rotating basis. Registration for all these classes is open to everyone. Classes will only count towards the graduation requirements if a person is currently enrolled in the MSI Leadership Academy.
